The Lono Wild are one of the best purchases I’ve made so far. Shipping was impeccable, and the overall quality of the shoes is excellent. The Lono team was also very responsive and quick to answer my questions before I placed the order, which I really appreciated.
I tested the shoes on rocky terrain and very steep downhills. They strike an excellent balance between ground feel and foot protection. The grip performs very well on muddy and slippery surfaces.
They were comfortable right out of the box — no break-in period was needed. My feet fit perfectly immediately. The toe box is generous and allows natural toe splay. The sole is flexible, and the shoes feel light on foot.
I also really like the cork insole, which provides some thermal insulation.
For reference, my foot measures 268 mm in length and 105 mm in width. I chose size 43, and the fit is perfect with both regular and wool socks.
A former Vivobarefoot die-hard of 10+ years, I am so satisfied with my Lono Flow that I am already planning to buy another pair (or two!) My husband wants to try a pair, too! Great quality, great fit. Measure your feet and you won't go wrong.
I recently purchased the Wild and Flow. I have been in barefoot shoes and outdoor socks for many years and tried many brands. These shoes are the best I have worn. The Flow without socks are so soft and smooth inside. No pressure points or rubbing even when wet. I have a high arch and have found many shoes are tight across the tendons on the top of my feet. The Flow are so flexible - no issues. The Wild are the same quality , fit and comfort and unlike regular hiking shoes light enough to run in when the mood takes you.
The size chart is accurate, the price point is great and the shoes are better than the more expensive brands I have bought in the past. The sole traction is non slip on mud and wet surfaces, but permits easy balance and correction.
Long review but I am so glad to have found this brand and can confidently recommend them .
Sized just right. Super flexible and comfortable, yet just the right amount of support! This is my first pair of barefoot shoes, but it certainly won’t be my last!
Finally -- merino wool socks that don't bind my toes together! What's the point of shoes with wide toeboxes if your socks are squeeze your toes together? Get your LONO BareTOE Socks now!!
I'm wearing the Nomads as I write this review. Super comfortable. Looks great. Complements the Lono Flows and outdoor shoes I have. I've Lonos for almost every occasion now. In my opinion, the best value barefoot shoes without question.

I love these shoes, they are very comfortable, durable (I walk a lot every day in mud and sand) and clean easily even in a washing machine, without changing shape. And they look the part! The sole is also decent on challenging surfaces. The waterproofing protects feet in shallow puddles and light rain. I’ve been wearing them practically everyday for the past 6months (without really caring for them) and after a wash they look brand new! ❤️

The comfiest shoes I’ve ever worn! I’m usually a UK women’s size 7, so I was unsure whether the UK 6 would fit, but they’re perfect and still leave wiggle room for my toes. I honestly struggle to wear any non-barefoot shoes now — the Lono Wilds have noticeably improved my posture and really help me engage my whole leg when I walk. They’ve made long hikes even more enjoyable; I can truly feel every step and feel connected to the ground. I absolutely love them. Not only are they comfortable they also look amazing and I’ve received lots of compliments wearing them! Couldn’t be happier 😊

For me, I like the style and design of the wild. I like to wear it as my everyday shoe. It's also perfect for when I take my dogs for a hike through the low areas of the desert mountains. I do plan on buying a couple of other colors.
I wear a size 10US/43EU. They fit my foot perfectly if I wear a thin sock.
