I’m new to barefoot shoes. Did lots if research on brands, reviews, sizing options etc. settled on these for: smaller size options, color and true baseline. I’m a US 6. Debated between EU size 36 & 37. Usually I prefer the snugger fit vs. too loose but due to the style of barefoot shoes felt I shouldn’t limit the space. I’m very pleased with the comfort. Shocked after first wear barefoot wore for hours like slippers! Wore recently for travel (did wear minimal foot socks for longer distances/day) and still super comfy. Will save up for another color and considering their trail shoe they’re releasing soon as well! Guess my disposables income will be spent here!
I’m very pleased with my shoes - it’s like wearing a comfy pair of socks. I haven’t fully transitioned to barefoot shoes yet and whenever I switch to regular shoes I quickly realise how much narrower most of them are and I think about when I can put my new Lonowear shoes again. If there was a leather or water repellent version (in similar colours as mesh Flow model) to wear on the rainy days I wouldn’t hesitate to buy. Slightly off white tone of these shoes goes well with most outfits. I even got a compliment from my husband saying that they look really good on me. The only annoying thing is that the removable insoles come out partially almost every time I take my bare feet out and inserting them back properly takes a moment (but on the plus side they can be replaced).
Have switched to weight and calisthenics training in these shoes the last couple days. Surprisingly no pain. Good contact with the ground. Won’t be running in them anytime soon.
the insoles are a great addition to the shoe. keep it clean on the inside
I’ve been looking for a new pair of barefoot shoes for about 12months. I finally found these and they looked so great I’d thought I’d give them ago. They are the best shoes I’ve come across. I just love them. So well built and no pain when walking. I will be buying more. I’d love a pair in hot pink!!
Its super comfy, didnt cost me a day to grt used to barefooted.
I really love these shoes. Only after receiving them did I realized just how perfectly they fit the foot. Not only is there ample toe room and lots of flexibility, but there is an integrated pad at the heel that keeps them comfortable and secure. The flat foot bed makes them feel very stable. All the design details (which are a lot!) create a look that makes me feel like the cool kid on the block. Since I am still new to barefoot shoes and the lower level of padding under foot, I am currently wearing them as my daily all-around-town shoe, and they are keeping my feet very comfortable. Thanks, Lono!
My feet shears hurt while running wearing the Nikes and the adidas, but these have slowly started healing my feet. I’m getting more comfortable each day in these.
I’ve been exploring barefoot shoes for about a year, and have a half dozen various brands. These are by far my favorites. They are incredibly comfortable with just the right amount of give. Biodegradable elements are so hard to find in footwear, but absolutely crucial for sustainability, I hope they will offer this style in my go-to “neutral” of navy blue so I can buy another pair (or two!).
Love these shoes. Stylish, eyes catching, comfortable and light
This shoe is fantastic—perfect for workouts, and I absolutely love the design.
However, there’s one small issue: the marketing doesn’t quite do it justice. It looks very similar to the Lono Flow, and the name, which just adds an "S," makes it seem too much like the original Lono Flow rather than a completely different product. If I could rename it, I would have called it Lono Strength
